Turkmen bank introduces mobile e-wallet service

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, Feb. 24

By Huseyn Hasanov– Trend:

Turkmenistan's Rysgal Joint Stock Commercial Bank introduces the service of Rysgal Pay mobile e-wallet, Trend reports with reference to the bank.

Rysgal Pay services or the QRcode payment system can be used on a mobile phone.

An e-wallet is an app installed on mobile devices that allows its user to store e-money and use it to make cashless payments on the internet.

Users can replenish their wallet by purchasing a special prepaid card, using internet banking or an ATM, making a bank transfer, as well as by using a payment terminal.

Turkmenistan's State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs introduced the internet banking service in 2019.

This service is convenient because it provides customers with opportunities for prompt informing about the status of accounts and banking transactions by using the client-bank system.

Payment cards, including those issued by banks, are tools in Turkmenistan for carrying out cashless retail payments and getting cash funds.
