By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:
Kazakhstan’s State Revenue Committee has automatized 34 services out of 45 offered services as of now, a representative of State Revenue Committee told Trend.
Currently the committee is offering 45 services to legal and physical entities, including 28 tax services and 17 customs services.
“Currently 75.5 percent of the provided services (34 services) have been automatized, including 28 services provided via Kazakhstan’s electronic government. Constant analysis for the opportunity of further automation and optimization of the state services, identification of ‘hidden’ services is underway,” the committee said.
All services of the committee have been submitted for the approval of the interagency commission for selection of state services for optimization and automation of the process of state services provision.
“As a result of the review some 32 services have been selected, and roadmaps for optimization of the state services provision have been developed and approved for each of them. Optimization means decrease of the documents number required, provision via electronic government website, switch to the online format and so on,” the official said.
He added that the work on implementation of the roadmaps began in 2018.
“Thus, currently three different services were united into one, three ‘hidden’ services were included in the registry of public services. Seven services were completely made available online, provision time was reduced on 20 services, the number of documents required was reduced for six services,” the official said,
The work on optimization and automation of the process of state services provision continues in the country, he said.
“Results of the work implemented allow the service recipients apply for government services remotely without leaving home or office. Automation eliminates the contact between service providers and service recipients and therefore, has a positive effect on corruption risks reduction,” the official said.
The official added that making services available online goes hand in hand with simultaneous integration with data systems of other state authorities, which allows to receive and analyze data necessary for the service provision.
“Thus, increase of services share available online decreases time and monetary expenditures of the service recipients,” the official concluded.
