One of Russia's largest cloud providers enters Uzbek digital market

One of the Russia's largest cloud providers will participate in the digitalization of business in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media.

IT infrastructure provider Selectel started working in Uzbekistan on May 6, 2020.

Uzbekistan became the first foreign country where Selectel cloud platform was localized. By the end of 2020, Selectel also plans to enter the Belarusian market.

The company will introduce advanced IT developments and tools for business digitalization and invest up to $1 million in the development of the new market in Uzbekistan within three years.

Selectel has placed its own infrastructure in a data center in Tashkent, which ensured high speed and smooth operation of services, the message said.

Thus, from today,SelectelOffice package of office programs and SelectelChat multifunctional messenger - business applications for organizing convenient and productive work - have become available in Uzbekistan.

Selectel cloud platform will be launched in July 2020. It will allow the users to quickly and inexpensively build an infrastructure for digital products of any complexity and scale.

Selectel was founded in 2008 and has been developing cloud services for over 10 years. The company was the first IntelCloudTechnology global program member from Russia, joining the ranks of AmazonWebServices, Rackspace and OVH.

Currently, Selectel serves over 15 thousand customers representing Vkontakte, the largest social network in Eastern Europe, international educational platform Uchi.ru, online taxi ordering service Citimobile, food delivery service Samokat and other well-known brands.
