Azerbaijan’s Sumaks Technologies IT company has launched the development of the second version of the disinfection equipment - Banovshayi, which is designed to disinfect escalator handrails during the pandemic situation, Executive director of the company Javid Mammadov told Trend.
“The escalators at the metro stations and in the passages of the Baku Metro may be equipped with these special disinfection devices,” Mammadov added.
“The disinfection is carried out through ultraviolet rays,” executive director of the company added. “Moving escalator handrails periodically passing through the equipment will be disinfected by this device.”
“First, this device is expected to be installed in the ASAN Service centers and then it will be offered to other structures," Mammadov said.
In 2020, the company continues to work on such projects as AutoMax GPS system, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Scroller Management.
The executive director noted that one of the largest projects of the company was implemented during nine months in 2019.
The devices manufactured by the company have been used in various fields, including advertising, transport and ERP.
