BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3

By Nargiz Ismayilova - Trend:

Azerbaijani Azexport internet portal operating under the Center for Analyses and Economic Reforms and Communication will make a decision on further integration into Facebook Shops services, Manager of the portal Aykhan Gadashov said, Trend reports.

“The export of food and medicine to the countries of the Arabian countries, Oceania and the US was previously impossible. When managing the portal, the principle is based on the efficient use of resources and achieving maximum efficiency with minimal cost,” Gadashov noted.

In this regard, 'Facebook Shops' completed the testing phase in the US and after providing its services fully functional, a proper analysis will be carried out, he said.

To promote 'Made in Azerbaijan' products via digital trading platforms in foreign markets, the Azexport portal has been integrated into the Amazon.com, Alibaba.com, Agroserver.ru, All.biz, Go4worldbusiness.com portals, which have extensive markets.

“As a positive result of integration processes gained from January 2017 through April 30, 2020 (within 40 months), 141 countries of the world received export orders worth $1.8 billion through the Azexport.az portal. As a result of the portal’s successful activity, our export geography has expanded,” he noted.
