By the number of subscribers, the market share of Georgian mobile operators by the end of 2019 was distributed as follows: Magticom - 41 percent, Silknet - 33 percent, and Vion Georgia - 26 percent, Trend reports referring to Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) report.
In 2019, the retail income of mobile operators amounted to 499 million lari ($164.5 million), which is 3.8 percent more than the retail income received in 2018.
MagtiCom's market share in retail was 46 percent, Silknet - 36 percent, Vion Georgia - 18 percent. Compared to 2018, Vion Georgia has increased its market share of revenue.
According to this report, in the field of electronic communications, income from over 100 million lari ($32.1 million) was received by three authorized physical persons. Their total income amounted to 84.7 lari ($27.2 million).
The total income of authorized persons who received income less than 100 million lari ($32.1 million) in 2019 amounted to 0.9 percent of the total income of all authorized persons in 2019.
