Computers, electronic and optical devices, as well as electric equipment worth 79.1 million manat ($46.5 million) were produced in Azerbaijan from January through May 2020, Trend reports.
During the reporting period, the production of computers, electronic and optical devices in the country grew 1.9 times, while the electric equipment production increased by 26.5 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
Meanwhile, the production of automatic devices and apparatus for regulation and control increased 10.6 times, and electric current wires rated for voltages up to 1,000 volts increased 3.6 times over the year.
In 2019, the value of production of these products in Azerbaijan reached 276.8 million manat ($162.8 million).
