The computers, electronic and optical devices, electrical equipment worth 93.9 million manat ($55.2 million) were produced in Azerbaijan from January through June 2020, Trend reports referring to the country’s State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this indicator decreased by 19.9 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
The production of computers, electronic and optical products increased by 66.6 percent, electrical equipment - by 3.8 percent from January through June 2020 compared to the period from January through June 2019.
The production of automatic devices and devices for regulation and control increased by 12.2 times while the production of electrical wires designed for voltage up to 1,000 volts - by 2.3 times from January through June 2020 compared to the period from January through June 2019.
The volume of production of computers, electronic and optical devices, electrical equipment in Azerbaijan reached 276.8 million manat ($162.8 million) in 2019.
