Computers, electronic, optical, and electrical equipment worth 96.2 million manat ($56.5 million) were produced in Baku from January through September 2020, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee, the production of computers, electronic and optical products decreased by 8.6 percent year on year.
The production of electrical equipment decreased by 82.3 percent over the year.
From January through September 2020, Azerbaijan produced computers, electronic, optical, and electrical equipment worth 159.3 million manat. The production of computers, electronic and optical products increased by 39.7 percent, while electrical equipment decreased by 9.6 percent over the year.
In 2019, the volume of production of these products in Azerbaijan reached 276.8 million manat ($162.8 million).
