The number of users of Azerbaijani Nar mobile operator in 4G network increased by 35 percent in the first nine months of 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the mobile operator.
At the same time, the number of 4G users increased by 27 percent in Baku city and by 51 percent in the district of Azerbaijan, said the message.
Due to the increase in the number of base stations with LTE / LTE-A technology throughout the country has led to an increase in the use of mobile internet.
“Thus, the use of mobile internet grew by 21 percent year on year. The volume of internet traffic rose by 9 percent in Baku and by 42 percent in the country's district,” said the message.
“The growth in data traffic was also influenced by the proliferation of 4G smartphones. The number of users of such smartphones in the first nine months of 2020 increased by 12 percent,” said the operator.
