Amid the development of technologies, data management capabilities are being introduced through cloud technologies, Shafi Rasulov, Software Engineer at Google, told Trend.
He noted that such large companies as Amazon, Google, and a number of others have their own data centers, which, in turn, have the ability to provide third parties with Cloud space Public and Private.
In addition, these large companies' Cloud technologies for small and medium enterprises are cheaper than other organizations' Cloud.
“In Azerbaijan, as in a number of other countries, the development of Public Cloud (intended for free use by the general public) has been practically reduced to zero. This decision comes from the state, so companies are forced to adhere to this decision,” said Rasulov.
He added that the public cloud, despite being provided both for free and with a number of technical security and cybersecurity capabilities, still requires data storage skills from the user.
“When we talk about storage safety, we mean internal and external factors. The user, while ensuring his internal data security, must provide access to the cloud to a narrow circle of people. When protecting data from external threats, special programs will be required, for example, WP Security and other similar solutions,” he stressed.
