The number of requests related to computer security in Azerbaijan grew by almost 11 percent in 2020, compared to 2019, and amounted to 4,989, Trend reports referring to the report of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the Special Communications and Information Security State Agency of the Special State Protection Service of Azerbaijan.
According to the data, nearly 98 percent of the total number of requests were considered and taken care of in the reporting year.
Meanwhile, based on the information security audit conducted by the CERT, 244 reports were prepared and sent to the appropriate structures, which is 8.3 percent less than in the previous year (266).
According to the CERT, 6 domains and 19 sub-domains were registered in the Azerbaijani internet segment over December 2020.
In 2020, 50 domains and 155 sub-domains were registered in the Azerbaijani internet segment.
According to CERT data, 45 domains and 107 sub-domains were registered in 2019 in the Azerbaijani internet segment.
