The number of requests related to computer security in Azerbaijan made up 353 in May 2021, Trend reports citing the report of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the State Agency for Special Communications and Information Security of the Special State Security Service of Azerbaijan.
According to the report, 96.6 percent (341 requests) of the total number of requests were considered and satisfied in May. In the same month, based on the information security audit, the CERT prepared and sent 10 reports to the appropriate structures.
According to CERT data, 4 domains and 2 subdomains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the Internet over the past month.
The total number of requests related to computer security in 2020 amounted to 4,989, of which 97 percent were considered and satisfied. During last year, on the basis of an audit on information security, 244 reports were prepared and sent to the appropriate structures.
In the Azerbaijani segment of the Internet, 50 domains and 155 subdomains were registered last year, which are usually used by organizations to create unique site names for their divisions or services.
