Uzbekneftegaz is improving Information and communication technologies at its Gazli oil and gas production department, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to Uzbekneftegaz JSC, effective results have been achieved in ensuring the efficiency of information exchange by improving the information technology infrastructure in departments and at enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
In particular, work has been carried out to implement a project to modernize the existing infrastructure at the Uchkir complex of the Gazli oil and gas production department.
The report said Ubiquiti Wi-Fi wireless radio relay bridges were installed and put into operation at the 30th kilometer of the Uchkir-Kumli field to Kumli-Tayokli, as well as in the direction of Uchkir-Kulbeshkak-Doyakhotin. To use the required frequency for these communication bridges, special permits were obtained from the Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility.
Also, in the main administrative building of the Uchkir complex, local network lines have been laid and passive devices of the local network have been installed. The data center located in the main building contains a communications cabinet, managed switches, an uninterruptible power supply, and servers.
In addition, network passive and active devices were installed and put into operation to form a network both in the production and dispatch building and in laboratory rooms.
To organize communication between the Uchkir complex and the Propane-Butane warehouse, fiber-optic communication cables were laid. The communication fiber was delivered to the data center and connected to the network devices.
An additional fiber optic communication cable and network devices were installed from a small server room located at the Propane-Butane facility to the scale operator's room. LAN (local area network) cables are installed in the operator's room of the scale and network access points (mains socket) are installed.
Moreover, the computer equipment necessary for the operation of the scales operators has been installed and connected to the internal network. The data transfer from the weighing device to the 1C program has been configured.
