By Sadraddin Agjayev - Trend:

This year, as well as in 2020, products in the field of cybersecurity are especially in demand in the Azerbaijani market, and this trend will continue in the future, the head of the regional sales department of the office of the Croatian Span in Azerbaijan Tahir Aliyev told Trend.

According to Aliyev, Span Azerbaijan is currently working on licensing Microsoft products in Azerbaijan, including the introduction of its programs and services.

"This includes solutions for the information security of Microsoft Corporation. In addition, we work with customers on complex products, for example, in the construction of an information security monitoring center (Operation Security Center). As part of this project, we help companies and large banks to promote and build our centers. In addition, we are working together with telecommunications companies, as well as with government customers," he said.

Aliyev stressed that the office of the company in Azerbaijan allows the development of Span's business in Georgia and the markets of Central Asia.

"Over the past two years, the company's financial indicators have doubled. In 2020, when the demand for information technology has increased sharply, we began to actively promote remote services in Azerbaijan. During the period 2020-2021, we managed to establish cooperation with several banks and large holdings in the country. They needed cybersecurity products, as their employees performed their duties remotely," Aliyev said.

In addition, according to Aliyev, the company offers cloud solutions based on Microsoft products for the SMEs sector - a set of products covering business management systems, data storage, and process automation.

The head of the Span Azerbaijan department added that today the company has about 15 customers in Azerbaijan.
