Turkmen enterprise releases its first tablets and smartphones

Turkmenistan’s enterprise ES “Aýdyň gijeler” for the first time produced 8- and 10-inch tablets of the Aýtab brand, Trend reports citing “Turkmenistan. Golden Age” online newspaper.

The company initially produced 2,500 impact-resistant tablets, with an additional production of at least 7,500 more devices planned until the end of this year.

The company’s another novelty is the first domestic smartphone called "Milli" (National), running on Android 9.1 OS.

Founded in 2016 Aýdyň gijeler is one of the country's first businesses to produce high-quality electrical and electronic products, aiming to develop import-substituting production.

The company’s first products were energy-saving lamps, LED ceiling lights and street lighting spotlights. The economic society is capable of producing over 1 million various LED lamps, LED ceiling lamps, high-wattage aluminum spotlights that illuminate highways.

The company's smart TVs are particularly of demand on the local market. Over 10,000 Zemin and Tolkun smart TVs with diagonals of 32, 42, and 55 inches, as well as a Älem brand TV with a diagonal of 65 inches, were produced and sold at a reasonable price by the company.

Given its export-oriented goal, the company is collaborating with foreign partners in the production and sale of "smart" equipment on global markets.
