Income from information and communication services provided to the population in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) increased by 6.9 percent in 2021 compared to 2020, and exceeded 59.331 million manat ($34.9 million), Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee of NAR.
According to the committee, during the reporting period, revenues from mobile services in NAR rose above 44.103 million manat ($25.9 million), an increase of 1.7 percent.
Furthermore, 75.3 percent of the sector's revenues fell to the share of mobile communications, which is 2.92 million manat ($1.7 million), or 6.98 percent more than in 2020.
In 2021, the GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) increased by 2.4 percent compared to 2020, and exceeded 3.016 billion manat ($1.77 billion).
GDP per capita in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic reached 6,524 manat ($3,839), which is 3.4 percent more than in 2020.
