BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. The Russian Federal State Institution of State Technologies and the Kazakh "Zerde" Holding are engaged in close dialogue for the implementation of joint projects in the field of digitalization, the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media told Trend.

In February 2020, following the negotiations of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, a memorandum of understanding aimed at the implementation of the above projects was signed between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media on the exchange of experience in the field of digitalization.

According to the Russian ministry, the memorandum envisages cooperation in the following areas:

- implementation of projects to train civil servants in the necessary technical and organizational skills required to carry out digital transformation processes;

- development and joint implementation of a training program for digital transformation leaders;

- implementation of a joint project to launch an intensive training and advanced training program for IT specialists to provide and support digital transformation tools on the basis of the Astana Hub International Technopark.

"The relevant structures of our countries will be directly involved in the implementation of the memorandum on the basis of substantive additional agreements," added the ministry.
