BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. The number of blocked ‘intruders’ in the Azerbaijani AzStateNet network was 204,980 from January through August 2022, the Computer Emergency Response Center (CERT) under the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of Azerbaijan told Trend.

"The number of ‘intruders’ blocked based on URLs amounted to 50,407, by the centralized anti-virus system (CAS) - 20,271, and 134,302 were blocked by the so-called sandbox system (a specially isolated environment for the safe execution of computer programs)," the CERT said.

According to the CERT, the number of blocked ‘intruders’ based on URLs was 38,636, CAS - 31,421, and 35,788 computer threats were blocked by Sandbox in the AzStateNet network in 2021.

AzStateNet is a set of geographically distributed networks and access servers belonging to organizations with the status of state authority.
