BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. BAKOTECH, an international group of companies, cooperates in Azerbaijan with such organizations as the Central Bank, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, Kapital Bank and Veyseloglu, CEO at BAKOTECH Eugene Badakh told Trend.

According to Badakh, the group also cooperates with companies and entrepreneurs in the fields of healthcare and telecommunications (Azintelecom).

"They use our Tenable, Digital Guardian and Palo Alto Networks solutions. Besides, our clients are also the biggest commercial holdings. Next year we plan to expand the local team and develop the technical competence of partners," he said.

The CEO stressed that cybersecurity in Azerbaijan is one of the priority areas of development and the financial sector was the first to allocate budgets for security and recruit the best specialists.

"Azerbaijani companies receive the state-level support, and budgets are allocated for critical projects. After the second Karabakh war, the issue of protecting the public sector became the most relevant, and we are seeing a very strong development of personnel and budgets in this area,” Badakh noted.

“Our portfolio includes solutions for many vendors: F5, CloudFlare, Riverbed, NetScout, Palo Alto Networks, Boldon James, Digital Guardian, WatchGuard, Tenable, F-Secure, Netwrix, One Identity, Extreme Networks, and Dynatrace. We regularly cooperate with leading mobile operators, banks, state-owned companies and healthcare organizations to build reliable protection against cyber attacks," he further said.

Besides, the CEO emphasized that BAKOTECH set up Cloud protection and the operation of all services of one of the largest banks, and is now building a two-stage protection model with monitoring the availability of services.

"Another case from the financial sector is Kapital Bank. There we installed the Dynatrace solution, enabling to monitor the entire infrastructure and proactively troubleshoot operations. Another vendor in BAKOTECH's portfolio is Palo Alto Networks (the US information security services company), which is in demand in the financial, government and commercial sectors, as well as in the healthcare and telecom sectors," Badakh said.
