BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. The retail trade turnover of computer equipment and electronics amounted to 327.1 million manat ($192.4 million) in Azerbaijan from January through July 2023, which is 43.5 million manat ($25.6 million), or 15.34 percent more than in the same period of 2022, Trend reports.
The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reports that the country manufactured electronics and computer equipment worth 130.9 million manats ($77 million), or 5.14 percent higher than it did from January through July 2022, or 6.4 million manats ($3.8 million).
Additionally, throughout this year's reporting period, output of computer, electronic, and optical items increased by a factor of two while production of electrical equipment shrank by 0.2 percent.
During this time, Azerbaijan manufactured 3,174 computer desks (a 3.5 times increase), 188,200 measuring instruments (a 2.2 times increase), 349 power transformers, 4,599 electrical appliances, and 584 residential refrigeration systems.
