BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 9. The European Span technology company, through its subsidiary Span Azerbaijan, is keen on expanding its operations in Azerbaijan, considering the rising demand for cyber and data security services in the country, General Director of Span Azerbaijan Eldar Jahangirov told Trend.

"Established in 1993 in Croatia, Span provides a range of services, including cloud services, software asset management (SAM), and licensing, as well as cybersecurity and information and data security services. We aim to enhance our presence and operations in Azerbaijan," Jahangirov said.

According to him, the company has already provided services in the banking sector of Azerbaijan, as well as in the field of telecommunications, to a number of state companies in the country.

"We possess a suite of proprietary IT solutions and maintain a strong partnership with Microsoft (as an LSP). Additionally, we distribute technological products from HP, IBM, Amazon, and Google in the Azerbaijani market. Our expertise lies in cloud technologies, and we aim to provide these solutions to various organizations in Azerbaijan," the general director said.

He also mentioned an interest in participating in the processes of creating smart settlements in the country, particularly in the liberated territories.

Span operates 15 subsidiaries around the world, including in Azerbaijan.
