BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 6. The member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) have signed the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA), Trend reports.
According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy, the signing took place during the 11th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The implementation of the document, prepared at the initiative of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy, will deepen cooperation among OTS countries in key areas such as the development of e-commerce, the unification of legislation, customs regulation, and financial technologies (FinTech).
Additionally, the agreement will help protect consumer rights in digital trade and consolidate cybersecurity capabilities among the member states.
