2,500 post boxes will be installed in the regions of the country till late 2005, Ganbar Baybalayev, the Director General of the Azerpocht State enterprise (SE), told Trend.
According to Baybalayev, 250 post boxes have been installed throughout the country so far, while the rest is planned to be purchased and installed in 2005. The work will require 993.8 million manats.
The head of Azerpocht noted that along with these measures they signed agreement on the application of the Western Union and Travelex money transfer systems in the first half of 2005.
