The collegium of the Public TV (PTV) and Radio Broadcasting Council is to be held on 16 August. The basic reason for holding the event is discussions of issues on PTV broadcasting launching, namely, the exact date of the PTV inaugural ceremony, PTV told Trend.
PTV noted the broadcasting start is scheduled for the last week of August (on 25-26 August). As the PTV General Director Ismail Omarov noted earlier, the TV will broadcast on the 14-th channel and two TV studios equipped by the up-to-date facilities are ready for the moment.
The PTV stressed, a number of officials, are expected to the PTV inaugural ceremony. It is not ruled the country’s President Ilham Aliyev will also take part in the event.
