Works on establishing the main network for transmission of the national information AzDATACOM are planned to start in the second half of September.
For the moment, the relevant agreement with the Sinam company, which was identified as the winner of the tender held on this subject is signed, the office of the project “National E-Governance Network Initiative” told Trend.
They also stressed, 6 IT companies were interested in the tender, which was held in accordance with the UNO principles on establishing AzDATACOM.
Establishing of AzDATACOM, which is envisioned to fulfill during 2005 is implemented by the program of the technical assistance “National E-Governance Network Initiative”, implemented jointly by the Ministry of Communications and the Information Technologies and the UNO Development Program (UNDP) and is one of the measures planned by the Ministry of Communications for 2005.
