Bilateral postal money transfers by the MTF/STEFI system with Moldova became possible since the current September, the post department of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT) told Trend.
The Ministry also noted negotiations with the similar objective are currently held with France. “Signing of the agreement on introduction of postal money transfers by the MTF/STEFI system is planned till the year-end”, the state structure noted.
Apart from this, implementation of these measures with the Central Asian countries вЂ"Uzbekistan, Tadjikistan, Kirgiziya and other is envisioned in the prospect. Along with this, works for performance of money transfers with Japan are carried out. However, due to some circumstances connected with the conditions of the Japanese side, no definite agreement is reached.
For the moment Azerbaijan, beside Moldova, carries out money transfers by the MTF/STEFI system with Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
