The Toshiba company is satisfied by the cooperation with Azerbaijan, the head of the personal computers department of the Toshiba Europe GmbH Moscow representation office Igor Snytko said on 13 October, Trend reports.

According to him, the company pays a special attention to the Azerbaijan’s market within CIS space. “The Azerbaijani market is the market to develop dynamically in future, where there is demand and understanding”, the Toshiba spokesman stressed.

The basic reason for having business in Azerbaijan, according to Snytko, is the country’s stable political and economic situation, the required business climate towards the foreign companies which is rather attractive for investors.

Deliveries of Toshiba equipment are performed since 1998 through the trade house Mitsubishi Corporation with the number of notebooks of 10-15-20 pieces a month. In 2000 the company signed an agreement with AZEL, which finally became the official distributor of the Toshiba products in Middle Asia and Caucasus. For today the volume of notebooks supplies is hundreds pieces a month.
