From May one may transfer money to United Arab Emirates via MTF/STEFI system. Trend reports quoting had of mail communication with Ministry of Communication and IT Novruz Mamedov, on April 25, 2006 UAE informed the Ministry of signing the agreement on bilateral mail transfers between UAE and Azerbaijan. The agreement was signed and submitted to UAE Government several months ago.
В"At the moment we are testing the money transfer systems in our post offices in order to eliminate possible defects and malfunctions. These operations will be finished by MayВ", Mamedov said.
The Ministry f communications and IT talked on money transfer cooperation with UAE last year.
At present one may send money from Azerbaijan via РњРўF/STEFI to Russia, Moldova, Byelorus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and UAE and vice versa.
