A session on techno-parks establishment was held at the Ministry of Communication and IT of Azerbaijan. Communication Ministry officials told Trend that it was decided to call for a tender to define a consultant to study common conditions of techno-parks creation, i.e. select the model, primary directions and principles. The tender is announced June 15.
In accordance with State ICT development program for 2005-2008, all techno-parks will be built till 2008.
Ernst & Young has prepared a report for creation of techno-parks stating Azerbaijans readiness for creation of such structures. However, some financial difficulties like expenses, investments, personnel, etc. may arise.
