Azeri government is currently working on preparation of proposals in regard to regulatory on production and export of software, trend reports quoting Iltimas Mamedov, deputy Minister of Communication of Azerbaijan.
Mamedov said these works may also call for consultation with international experts.
В"The primary objective in development of ICT in the country is to establish scientific-technological parks that are currently being spoken of with consulting companiesВ", - Mamedov underlined.
Azeri official sated his confidence in great influence of such facilities on opening new workplaces. В"In general, Azerbaijan has a significant staff potential in IT sphereВ", - he noted.
Mamedov said that if in 2004 IT-investments amounted $100mln, in 2005 they reached $150mln.
