The Ministry of Communication and It of Azerbaijan ha prepared a program for recovery of Nagorno-Karabakh communications to implement after the release of Azeri grounds from Armenian occupation. Trend reports with reference to press service of Communication Ministry, the scope of works to be performed within the program (tools and methods) are already defined.
These works are reflected in the state program for development of ICT in Azerbaijan for years 2005 to 2008 (В"E-AzerbaijanВ").
The projects within E-Azerbaijan program are evaluated in $372mln.
E-Azerbaijan program is purposed for economic and structural reforms, modernization of communication means and preparation and implementation of projects for transition to information society. The primary objective of said program ensuring development of communication and IT in Azerbaijan, as well as introducing nation strategy for ICT development, planning and execution of projects stipulated in said document.
