Azerbaijani minister of communications and information technologies Ali Abbasov received the new Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vasili Istratov, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan.
The minister voiced his hope that the relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, as well as close interaction in information and communication sphere will further develop in the future.
The Russian ambassador stressed that he will do his best for the development and expansion of the bilateral relations, as well as in ICT sector.
