The forum is planned to cover the creation of a regional innovation zone as a priority direction for the Azerbaijani economy. Ali Abbasov will make a presentation on this topic. The issue of potential production and exportation of the IT products will be touched upon by the Heads of the companies, Sinam, Elchin Aliyev, Ultra, Tahir Mirkishili and AZEL, Igor Yakovenko. In addition, it is also planned to introduce to the forum, the Heads of the Azerbaijan offices of Microsoft, Vladimir Chaykovskui and Cisco Systems, Ilyas Naibov-Aylisli. The President of Internet Association of Azerbaijan, Galib Gurbanov, will present a report on the Internet and E-commerce.
Within the visit, a conference will take place with the Trade Chamber of California, during which meetings are planned to be held with the Heads of Cisco, Intel and other IT companies of the USA .
"The Azerbaijani Minister will hold a number of meetings with the American companies to define the directions of potential investments to the IT sphere of Azerbaijan ," Bayramov said.
