Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Babayeva / Rizvan Osmanov, the head of KUR which is the only producer of computers in Azerbaijan and is located in the city of Mingachevir, reported that the plant was going to establish an office in Baku.
The company has ten sales offices in nine cities and regions of the republic, with two of them located in Baku and the rest in Ganja, Mingachevir, Sumgayit, Goranboy, Aghdash, Goychay, Sheki and Yevlakh.
KUR is a joint venture, the major part of which belongs to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani company Sinam.
The enterprise produced 3,500 computers in the first quarter of 2007 and is planning to produce 15,000 computers this year (4,000 more than last year).
