Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Babayeva /The Energy Director of Cisco, Michael Munro, is expected to visit Baku.
The Baku office of Cisco announced that the key objective of Munro's visit is to hold a presentation of the new Cisco resolution - Cisco First Mile Wireless Solution for mobile communications at the enterprise of the oil and gas industry within the framework of the 14th international conference Oil and Gas, incorporating Oil Refinery and Petro-chemistry.
He will present a new product on 6 June during a session of the Cisco-sponsored conference.
The company said that this solution can be used in countries with a developed oil and gas industry, including Azerbaijan. Integration of the best technology, services, rules, securities and management appendixes was the solution to allow the transfer of corporate data to specialists working in oil platforms in remote districts and the oceanic shelf.
Cisco First Mile Wireless solution, installed in oil derricks and oceanic platforms enables the connection of wireless data systems for mobile access devices, physical security system, service automobiles and radio frequency points, as well as integrate mobile services (voice transmission via IP wireless channels, video, host access, etc.).
