Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Babayeva / Nariman Hajiyev, Director, "National e-Governance Network Initiative" Project, and Farid Karimov, Chief Advisor on the Project Development Issues will participate in an "e-Society" conference to be organized in Lisbon, Portugal, from 3 to 7 July, 2007 by the International Association on the Development of Information Society (IADIS).
During the event, it's planned to inform participants in conference about the great success gained within the framework of the "State Program for information and communication technologies development in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2005- 2008" (e-Azerbaijan)" as well as about activities undertaken towards the e-Government creation in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
