Video Conferencing Communication Services Expanded in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / The video conferencing communication services has expanded within the framework of the State program of Electron Azerbaijan. Presently, the system is functioning on 20 facilities.
The Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology Ministry has reported that the system was introduced several years ago and included 12 facilities. Initially the Communication and IT Ministry, Aztelecom, a mobile operator and Ganja Telecommunication Hub joined the program.
Later Lankaran, Guba, Mingachevir, Geychay and Barda regions also joined the program with Baktelecom and Azerpocht also joining.
Taking into consideration the increased demand, a total of 20 units of video conferencing communications have joined the telecommunication hubs of Shemakha, Zakatala, Agjabadi, Beylagan, Alibayramli, Absheron and Khachmaz regions.
