Hungarian low-cost carrier adds two new destinations from Georgia

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air starts regular flights to Bologna and Nice from Georgian Kutaisi, Trend reports citing Georgian media outlets.

Regular flights Kutaisi-Bologna-Kutaisi will be operated since November 23 twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Since December 12, flights will be launched on Kutaisi-Nice-Kutaisi route. The flights will operated twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.

Wizz Air started flying from Kutaisi International Airport in 2012. In September 2016, the first airline base was opened at Kutaisi International Airport. In May 2017, Kutaisi International Airport added a second Wizz Air base, and the airline launched flights to five most popular destinations in Europe. In 2018, Wizz Air transported 95 percent of passengers in Kutaisi International Airport (587,643 passengers).
