Turkmenistan plans to purchase emergency medical service helicopters (Kazan Ansat) made in Russia, Trend reports referring to the Turkmen government.
The corresponding contract is being prepared with the participation of Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Health and Medical Industry.
The contract is for the products of the Kazan Helicopter Plant (KHP) located in Russia’s Tatarstan.
The management of the KHP earlier said on the possibility of delivering Kazan Ansat helicopters to Turkmenistan.
Kazan Helicopter Plant has been manufacturing aviation equipment since the 1940s and has been providing exports abroad since 1956.
