Azerbaijan’s AzVirt construction company continues to implement road projects abroad, a source in the company told Trend.
“The company will implement several similar projects this year,” the source said. " AzVirt company plans to expand cooperation with partners in the Central Asian region this year. In particular, the implementation of a road project for the reconstruction of the Bishkek-Osh road in Kyrgyzstan of a total length of 67 kilometers has been launched. The company plans to commence the second stage of this project in the coming months.”
“The project worth $41 million is financed by the Eurasian Bank,” the source said. “Asphalt paving process will be launched, excavation and drainage work on certain sections of the road will be completed by the end of December."
“The whole project is planned to be completed by 2023,” the source added.
AzVirt is one of the well-known contractors in Azerbaijan in the field of construction of roads, runways, airports. The company also produces building materials, including asphalt mixtures, fractional gravel, activated mineral powder.
