Turkmenistan Airlines to increase number of flights to UK

Turkmenistan Airlines intends to increase the number of flights to Birmingham (UK) to two a week, on Fridays and Sundays, from March 8, 2020, Trend reports citing the company.

The flights will be made on Boeing 737-800.

It’s also reported that the flights to Amritsar (India) will be restored in March.

In October 2019, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) allowed Turkmenistan Airlines to restore flights to EU countries upon receiving approval of the compliance to international flight safety standards.

In December, the flights to Birmingham and Frankfurt (Germany) were also restored.

The national air carrier of Turkmenistan has earlier reported that it prepared to expand the number of geography of flights to new destinations including the Arab states and countries of Asian-Pacific region.
