Tashkent Agricultural Machinery Plant has mastered a new investment project and is launching production of cabins for self-propelled agricultural machinery, Trend reports with reference to Uzagrotekhsanoatholding JSC.
The production began in line with the decree of the president of Uzbekistan, issued in 2019.
Implementation of the project worth $3.9 million is scheduled to be completed in December 2020. According to the project, the capacity of the new production will make up 12,000 machine sets and 60 jobs will be created.
According to the holding's press service, construction and installation works at the Tashkent Agricultural Machinery Plant have already been completed.
As part of the project, equipment worth $880,000 has been purchased and a welding line, a paint shop and two assembly lines have been put into operation. In addition, intra-industry and inter-industry cooperation ties have been established.
Experimental samples of the cabins have been manufactured and preparations for the launch of mass production are underway. The launch of production of the new cabins will provide mechanics with additional comfortable conditions for work including air conditioning system, modern tape recorder and comfortable chair. Mass production will start in June 2020.
