Multimodal transport and logistics company JSC KTZ Express of Kazakhstan together with DHL China carried out transportation of 300 John Deere agricultural combines to Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan Railways.
The transportation was carried out from China to Turkmenistan with the use of the transshipment terminal of the dry port of Kazakhstan KTZE-Khorgos Gateway.
Turkmenistan and KTZ Express have previously cooperated. The transport and logistics center of Turkmenistan and JSC KTZ Express of Kazakhstan facilitated the delivery of the first container train to China from Turkmenistan in transit through the territory of Kazakhstan in November 2019.
The total number of John Deere 9970 grain and cotton harvesters purchased by Turkmenistan is about 1000.
Thus, earlier John Deere company delivered more cotton harvesting machines to Turkmenistan.
In August of 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental protection of Turkmenistan and John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co.KG signed a memorandum for the development of telematic digitalization in the country's agro-industrial sector.
According to the document, in the next few years, John Deere and Claas brands special equipment for Turkmenistan.
