John Deere delivers new batch of agricultural machinery to Turkmenistan

John Deere company has delivered more of agricultural machinery to Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.

Agricultural machines of all modifications arriving in Turkmenistan must pass preliminary testing for compliance with local soil and climatic conditions.

Deliveries are carried out under a two-year contract for the purchase of agricultural machinery, which was signed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan with John Deere company.

According to its obligations, John Deere delivered 300 units of such cotton harvesters to Turkmenistan in 2019.

Turkmenistan is using foreign equipment in its agricultural sector, and in particular, the equipment provided by the US companies such as John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co.KG and Claas.

In August last year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental protection of Turkmenistan and John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co.KG signed a memorandum of understanding for the development of digitalization in the country's agro-industrial sector.

According to the document, in the next few years, special equipment of the John Deere and Claas brands in Turkmenistan will be provided with telematics.
