BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept. 18

By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:

Kazakhstan’s KTZ Express has organized the very first dispatch of polypropylene from the Turkmenbashi port to China's Qingdao, Trend reports with reference to the KTZ Express.

The polypropylene was delivered via Kazakhstan’s Aktau port then through the Caspian sea.

The First 48 40-foot containers with polypropylene were delivered by sea from the Turkmenbashi port to Aktau port within 24 hours. Then cargo was delivered to Kazakh Altynkol border station for further transportation to China. The train will cover a 7,500 kilometers route in approximately 10 days.

Successful pilot dispatch experience can start the regular polypropylene delivery service by sea. The route is optimal in terms of delivery time and economical profit when exporting polypropylene to China. The route successful operation also gives an impetus to increase the cargo traffic volume through the ports of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
