The revenues of the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC from cargo transportation exceeded 313.2 million manat ($184.3 million) in 2019, which is 12.3 percent more than a year before, Trend reports referring to the company.
According to the company, in the reporting year, the revenues from passenger traffic reached 21 million manat ($12.3 million), income from construction work - 22.4 million manat ($13.1 million), and other revenues - 49.3 million manat ($29 million).
In general, last year, the company’s revenues amounted to 406 million manat ($238.9 million), which is up by 6,000 manat ($3,500) compared to 2018.
Revenues from cargo export by the CJSC amounted to 1.85 million tons in the first nine months of 2020.
The total investment in fixed assets of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC in 2019 amounted to over 1 million manat ($588,235). Funds allocated from the state budget within state capital investments amounted to 653.9 million manat ($384.6 million).
