The operational expenses of the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC made up 313.2 million manat ($184.3 million) in 2019, which is 4.1 percent less than a year before, Trend reports referring to the company.
According to the company, in the reporting year, the salaries of its employees and the corresponding deductions amounted to over 110.4 million manat ($64.9 million), construction costs - 32.1 million manat ($18.8 million), and fuel costs - 7.8 million manat ($4.5 million).
In general, last year, the company’s operational expenses were equal to 26.5 million manat ($15.6 million), which is down by 6 percent compared to 2018.
Revenues from cargo export by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC amounted to 1.85 million tons in the first nine months of 2020.
The total investment in fixed assets of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC in 2019 amounted to over 1 million manat ($588,235). Funds allocated from the state budget within state capital investments amounted to 653.9 million manat ($384.6 million).
