About 5.01 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Shahid Rajaee port in the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) in the 10th month of the current Iranian year (December 21 through January 19, 2021), Trend reports citing the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization.
According to the statistics, 3.32 million tons of cargo were loaded and 1.69 million tons were unloaded in the port during the reporting month.
“Furthermore, 3.12 million tons of goods were exported and 284,000 tons were imported through the Shahid Rajaee port within 10th month,” the statistics said.
Over the mentioned month, 70,900 tons of goods were loaded and 35,600 tons were unloaded in the port for transit,” the statistics said.
According to the statistics, 121,000 tons of goods were loaded and 1.35 million tons were unloaded at the port for cabotage.
“Moreover, 7,000 tons of goods were loaded and 7,400 tons were unloaded for transshipment in the Shaid Rajaee port,” the statistics said.
At the same time, 201 tons of goods were loaded and 9,700 tons were unloaded at the port for other purposes, the statistics said.
According to the statistics, about 50,500 tons of essential products, 719,000 tons of metal products, 1.01 million tons of construction and mining materials, 4,590 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in Shahid Rajae port during the 10th month.
In addition, 122,000 tons of chemicals, 845 tons of leather products, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 14,600 tons of small and various products, 232,000 tons of container products, 2.85 million tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded at the port.
As reported, a total of 10.8 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 10th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.32 million tons were unloaded and 4.55 million tons were loaded.
