Iran’s PMO talks about cargo movements in Dayyer port

About 318,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Dayyer port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021), Trend reports citing the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 254,000 tons of cargo were loaded and 64,500 tons were unloaded in the port over last Iranian year.

“In addition, about 253,000 tons of cargo were exported and 384 tons were imported through the Dayyer port during the reporting period,” the statistics said.

Also, 1,110 tons of cargo were loaded and 64,100 tons were unloaded in the port for other purposes, the statistics said.

According to the statistics, 44 tons of construction materials and mining materials, 15 tons of leather products, clothing, fiber, paper, and wood materials, 18,500 tons of small and assorted products, about 300,000 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded at the Dayyer port within last Iranian year.

Reportedly, a total of 123 million tons of goods were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports last Iranian year. This is a decrease of 18.1 percent compared to the preceding year. So, 150 million tons of goods were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the preceding year.
